What does your startup do

We identify innovative seed-stage startups with novel ideas and invest $30K-100K in each business. Specifically, we are looking to invest in startups that we think will change the world within 5 years. Working together with these companies, we can create the future. We do more than just invest money; we also support them in different aspects of business including sales, public relations, projects, alliances, business planning, and fundraising from other investors.

What problem are you trying to solve?

There is a seed-stage financing problem, and we want to help solve it. At the seed-stage, there is a shortage of risk money funds which is a problem for the startup ecosystem. Additionally, we provide hands-on support by sharing our knowledge and network to help startups grow.

Why did you choose Fukuoka?

I was born in Fukuoka, and it’s a city where many people choose to start new projects. It’s a growing city, with young people rapidly moving here to work and live. This influx of new ideas means that more startups will likely develop and grow. Our company wishes to grow together with Fukuoka City.

What do you think about Fukuoka's startup community?

The Fukuoka City administration focuses a great deal on startup support. People from many places around the world come to this city, and I think this trend will continue. In addition, there are new opportunities that present themselves as the city grows. There is even a new startup support hub being created called Fukuoka growth next. I think that as the city grows, the startups will grow as well.

How has Fukuoka City helped your startup?

Fukuoka City gave our company the opportunity to do business overseas.

Do you have advice for people considering doing a startup in Fukuoka? Anything you wish you’d known before starting your company here?

It’s important for founders to spread information and involve people. Many people in Fukuoka are willing to cooperate if it will help to support our city.
